Well, I’ve gone and done it. I have finished moving my site to a new server. Not Windows as I was attempting earlier, but the new version of Linux: Fedora Core 1. It’s running on a 1.4GHz machine with 512MB of RAM and lots more disk space. It’s a considerable improvement from the old SGI O2 I was running on before. While the old machine hasn’t failed me, I did need more space and speed was a bonus. So, now: enjoy the new site!
Wyoming Visit
I have added my sister’s pictures (taken on my same trip to Wyoming listed below) to the photo gallery. Follow the link to Wyoming to view them. Happy New Year!
Post Christmas
I had a wonderful Christmas with my family. I am looking forward to going back to work. I will be staying in a small town outside of Silver City, NM called Pinos Altos. I have also purchased some new cold-weather running gear (once you look at the pictures, you’ll know why!) to try out on the cold mountain trails.
Silver City
I have begun a new project in Silver City, NM. It’s quite a nice place and I should be traveling back and forth for several months.
Thanksgiving
I have just returned from a trip to Wyoming to visit my sister and her family with my fiancée, Laura. I have many great pictures of the family, but not very much snow!
Car Sold!
I have sold my car! I now am the proud owner of… NO CAR! In an effort to reduce my debt and expense load, I am driving my father’s truck while he doesn’t need it.
New Site Server
I have migrated my web server to run on IRIX 6.5. This site is now hosted on an SGI O2 running Apache web server.
Europe And Photos
I have completed my European work tour (pictures are posted in the Gallery) and will be looking forward to sitting still for a bit.
