… with no broadband service. We have arrived in Northern Virginia after a long road trip [along side the tropical storm which rained on us all day last Thursday]. Once we arrived, the unpacking began the next day and we have been going through many boxes each day. The garage is starting to get very full of cardboard…
The network is set up but there is no DSL service here yet. So: thanks, Mike, for helping out! I may not ever be able to get DSL here, but I will probably be getting the cable modem service in the near future and discontinuing my old ISP – for which they will charge me a “breach of contract” fee or some other nonsense.
But: we are here, we are alive, and we are together. That is what is most important. More later.
