I have been working in California for the last couple of months. The weather, of course, is much nicer than in Houston. I’m south of Los Angeles, in Orange County, so I’m away from the worst of the smog. The travel schedule becomes more dificult now that I have a new family member to come home to!
I’m hoping that this project will bring about some international travel. I have been given a schedule that includes places like Camberly, UK and Calgary, ALB. However, I’ve been run around in circles so long that I don’t really trust the schedule anymore – nor do I trust the project management team. I am hoping that I will be able to make plans soon because I want to bring Laura with me. I’ve been wanting to do that for quite some time and have not yet been able to have sufficient notice.
Anyway – I am enjoying this new program: Movabletype. It’s quite cool. I can now use this program to edit and post news to my site no matter where I might be.
I am trying out some new software for my site – I think it will be interesting and hope to use it to chronicle more events of my life.
We are in the process of integrating our lives with each other. We are trying to find places for all of our stuff to fit together. Not much happening at work – business is slow these days. So, I’m working on re-organizing my home office. I have a nice new work area and am almost done.
Back from the honeymoon – in Paris, of course! We’re not yet ready to re-enter the real world. We’d like to stay on vacation. But, of course, the world intrudes. I will probably have to go back to work on Monday.
Done went and got married.
NOTHING is happening in my job. However, I have had a chance to play with Windows 2003 and Titanium (the new version of Exchange) and it is better than before. Only 5 days to the wedding. I hope I haven’t forgotten anything…
I have just returned from a long trip to New Mexico. This time, I visited the Gila Cliff Dwellings. There are some panoramic pictures here also with albums of the drive up and the dwellings themselves.
I have moved the sky pictures into the Western Sky directory. I seem to be fixated on sky pictures in New Mexico… Maybe because there’s so much of it!
We have rescheduled the wedding for May 3rd of this year! Be sure to visit the Wedding site for more information.
Working in Silver City, NM is so relaxing. Check out this album for some nice sunset pictures.
