I’ve successfully watched a complete show in Blu-Ray format with out any issues of stuttering, hesitation, or skipping. Seems like both the firmware update and the new version of Total Media Theater paid off. No more wondering about what to do next: there’s nothing more to do here.

We watched another Blu-Ray last night from Redbox (Dispicable Me from Redbox started this whole thing by not working on my Sony stand-alone player) and all went very well. No error messages about disk being too new, no stuttering, pausing, or other visible issues. I even forgot that it had ever had a problem 5 minutes into the movie and was able to be wrapped up in the plot instead of worrying when the next unintended pause would be.
