New Favorite Airport

As I added a new airport to my list, it has now become my new favorite. With only 4 gates, Paine Field in Everett, WA has become the 98th airport that I have visited. Laura and I really enjoyed waiting for our flight there in what felt like “exclusive” luxury.

With a fireplace to sit by and a view of the mountains out of the window, we were fully relaxed while waiting for our flight.

To top it all off, our walk from the car to the airport took all of a minute: the parking lot is right out front of the terminal. For now, the economy lot further away is closed, but the “premium” lot is charging economy prices since traffic is low.

It’s too bad that United only flies to Denver from here – I’d love to see some more non-stops, like Houston or even Dulles. This airport has a bright future. 🙂
